Theatre Maker
Dualtagh McDonnell-Grundy is an Irish theatre maker and writer based in Ireland and works frequently in the Netherlands. He is interested in physical, experimental and collaborative performance. His practice is focused on the creation of alternative worlds which invite the public to question and reflect on the structures/systems that are in place in everyday spaces.
The current focus of his practice is exploring queer ecologies in performance though the facilitation of encounters of intra-action between humans and non-humans - primarily plants - using immersive technologies.
As a member of BLOB collective (NL), he is working on creating encounters between the body and technology using body capture technologies in performance, reflecting on the individual’s experience in an increasingly mediated world.
